After you have registered your devices and pinned the plugins you need, you can now build your own pipeline. To build a pipeline, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to Pipeline Studio from the navigation menu of the Platform Console. The Create/Load Pipeline dialog displays allowing you to choose from the three options you can do to build your pipeline.
- Building a Pipeline From Scratch
- Click Create a new Pipeline option from the Create/Load Pipeline dialog. The Pipeline Studio page displays.
- From the pinned plugins on the left pane, select the plugins you need then drag and drop them onto the design canvas.
Note: If you want to pin additional plugins to your pipeline, click the Pin New Plugin button then select the plugin you want to pin from the Pin Plugin to Pipeline dialog that displays.
- Building a Pipeline Using an Existing Pipeline
- Click Select from Existing option from the Create/Load Pipeline dialog. The Select Existing Pipeline dialog displays.
- From the list of existing pipelines, select the pipeline you want to use. Note that you can select a draft or a deployed pipeline from your existing pool of pipelines. The selected pipeline displays on the Pipeline Studio page.
- Click Edit to modify the existing pipeline.
- Building a Pipeline Using a Pipeline Template
- Click Download from Marketplace option from the Create/Load Pipeline dialog. The Select From Template dialog displays.
- From the list of pipeline templates, select the template you want to use. The selected template displays on the Pipeline Studio page.
- Building a Pipeline From Scratch
- Configure the plugins included in the pipeline. If you are building your pipeline using an existing pipeline or pipeline template, modify the existing plugin configuration. Otherwise, configure the plugin by completing the required fields. For more information on how to configure plugins, see Configuring Plugins in your Pipeline article.
- After you have configured the plugins, click Save as Draft if you want to save the pipeline as a draft and edit it at a later time or click Save & Deploy to save the pipeline and deploy it.
